I thought I knew how to swim, but no I don't. Swimming and playing in the lake or the ocean is WAY different than laps in the pool. Thankfully one of our friends is the assistant High School Girls Swim Team Coach!! Kathy has been gracious and is spending time in the pool helping Tressa and I prepare. Tressa is steady and strong- a great team mate. I don't know how to breathe and have a perioscope for a neck. Yesterday I had to practise (in the shallow end) putting my face in the water and blowing out and breathing in. Not moving mind you, just putting my face in the water-what a dork!
*****Tonight is the Relay for Life!!
We will be walking and running around the High School track to raise money for the American Cancer Society tonight from 7pm to 7 am. We had fun last year and what a wonderful cause!!

I think swimming without putting your face in the water is called "dog paddling". I hope you were breathing in after you took your face out of the water. I always had trouble with that part.
Good luck on the mini-triathalon.
Love,
Louise
